- New Versions of 1stRiadaHeadline Released: 1stRiadaHeadline 1.11
1stRiadaHeadline is one of the internet's premier web design tools, enabling seamless and hassle free incorporation of dynamic scrolling headlines/news into your web sites. Used by internet beginners and professionals alike, 1stRiadaHeadline now offers even more choice and flexibility:
* In addition to reading entire projects from a file on your server, you can now read individual headlines from ASCII unformatted text files, thanks to a new type of headline in the Headline Properties - the File headline. All attributes other than the text of the File headline are set from the Headline Properties, and the actual file names can include Dynamic Text, allowing different files to be read on different occasions/dates. So if your headlines change often, don't redo your entire project, just update your ASCII file!
* Use "Options..." in 1stRiadaHeadline to customise the background color, message, text color and text position that are displayed while the applets are initialising.
1stRiadaHeadline is free for use on a single unique domain while displaying embedded Riada advertisements. To remove these advertisements, a Standard Domain Registration License can be purchased for $34AUD (approx. $21US) and used on up to 5 unique domains, or an Unlimited Domain Registration License can be purchased for $61AUD (approx. $39US) and used on as many domains as you like.

Please note, if you are still using version 1.03 (or earlier) of 1stRiadaHeadline, after installing the new version you'll also need to re-enter your registration details into the product's Registration dialog box, that is, your:
(1) Registration Name
(2) Registration Key
(3) Customer ID

HINTS/TIPS

Changing date input/entry fields in the Conditions Properties of Riada products, from a two digit year to a four digit year.
The style in which date input/entry fields are displayed in the Conditions Properties of Riada and other Windows products, is affected by your Windows system settings. To change the year field in the Conditions Properties from two digits to four digits, select "Regional Settings" from your computer system's Windows Control Panel, then select "Date". From the "Short Date Style" field/pull-down, select a date format with a four digit year. If one is not listed (those in the pull-down vary according to which country your computer is set up for), simply click in the "Short Date Style" field and change the year to four digits e.g. yy to yyyy. For further information about date settings refer to your Windows system Help, or contact your computer supplier or Microsoft.
